Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Shawn Henderson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Freddie Hatcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Rooney having to interfere. When Freddie Hatcher came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Border Jets FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddie Hatcher couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Matthew Birch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chatham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Philip Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Easton in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chatham's zone, Ozzy Parkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Rooney came out of the goal and Ozzy Parkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Border Jets FC got a freekick which was hit by Ray Golding. After some careless play in the Border Jets FC defense, Ronnie Easton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Barratt. The Border Jets FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Barratt should have stopped the shot. Philip Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Easton in the 22nd minute of play. After 27 played minutes, Chatham's Victor Summerfield shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philip Barratt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chatham reached it. 29 minutes into the match, Chatham's goalkeeper Bryan Rooney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Hatcher. After 29 played minutes Chatham got a freekick which was hit by John Notley. Philip Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Easton, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Philip Barratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Henderson in the 47th minute of the match. A collision led to Chatham getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Victor Summerfield hit a great ball. The Border Jets FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chatham were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ozzy Parkinson to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Freddie Hatcher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Border Jets FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chatham the free kick. Freddie Hatcher hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Philip Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Henderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Chatham's Bryan Rooney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Parkinson in the 71st minute of play. Bryan Rooney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozzy Parkinson in the 72nd minute of play. Ozzy Parkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bryan Rooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Border Jets FC's goalkeeper Philip Barratt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronnie Easton. In the 78th minute, Vinnie Argent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Barratt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Barrie Atkinson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ozzy Parkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ozzy Parkinson struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bryan Rooney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Border Jets FC. In the 97th minute, Ozzy Parkinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Chatham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Border Jets FC throughout the match.
