Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rio Ricketts took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kieran Edmunds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Speight, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Kieran Edmunds made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Terry Shepherd sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austen Francis in the 14th minute of play forced Thetford AFC's goalkeeper Jason McRobbie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodney Ridgeway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jason McRobbie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Rio Ricketts notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Thetford AFC's Jason McRobbie. Jason McRobbie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th play minute Terry Shepherd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kieran Edmunds. 1-1. Rupert Nicoll took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jason McRobbie. Thetford AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, one of Thetford AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rupert Nicoll placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jason McRobbie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Ricketts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Bury St Edmunds's Rio Ricketts made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jason McRobbie was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Ricketts in the 43rd minute of play forced Thetford AFC's goalkeeper Jason McRobbie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jason McRobbie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Austen Francis went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

2-3 became the score in the 54th minute when Terry Shepherd elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thetford AFC's Jason McRobbie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Thetford AFC from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Rio Ricketts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jason McRobbie. Rio Ricketts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Bury St Edmunds's zone, Terry Shepherd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Edmunds came out of the goal and Terry Shepherd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Thetford AFC's Ash Leatherdale tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rio Ricketts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jason McRobbie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kieran Edmunds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Speight, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Austen Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bury St Edmunds's supporters rose to their feet, but Austen Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason McRobbie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jason McRobbie didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bury St Edmunds's Rio Ricketts shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Darryl Speight received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kieran Edmunds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bury St Edmunds's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
