Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paul Summerfield started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Paul Summerfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jez Hassell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Launceston United's Garth Fearns in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polperro City's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Launceston United booed when Polperro City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thom Cryer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Summerfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Paul Summerfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jez Hassell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Hughes-Guy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathon Cotton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Hughes-Guy might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathon Cotton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andre Hughes-Guy ran back to his position shaking his head. Launceston United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrew Pickford 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Jonathon Cotton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Pickford's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Jonathon Cotton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Polperro City's Andrew Pickford shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Andre Hughes-Guy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrew Pickford to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Summerfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Fearns got free with Jez Hassell in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alastair Dixon charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alastair Dixon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Launceston United's Alastair Dixon got a free kick in the 61st minute. Marlon Dyson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Andrew Pickford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathon Cotton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrew Pickford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Polperro City's goalkeeper Jez Hassell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Fearns. Jonathon Cotton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Pickford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Pickford in the 83rd minute of play forced Launceston United's goalkeeper Jonathon Cotton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Fearns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jez Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Summerfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Paul Summerfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jez Hassell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polperro City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
