Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Faversham City's Malcolm Fenwick suffered a concussion in the 4th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Tyler Thompson charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyler Thompson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Faversham City booed when Havant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Tyler Thompson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faversham City's Romeo Chappell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Den Redwood-Turner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faversham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Havant the free kick. In the 9th minute, Den Redwood-Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Tyler Thompson made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Chappell. Faversham City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 14 played minutes Havant got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Jenkins. Romeo Chappell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyler Thompson in the 17th minute of the match. Tyler Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Romeo Chappell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Bryan Woodhouse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faversham City and the Havant players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bryan Woodhouse hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tyler Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Chappell having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Faversham City's zone, Tyler Thompson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Chappell came out of the goal and Tyler Thompson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Newton in the 31st minute of play forced Faversham City's goalkeeper Romeo Chappell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirk Carlick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sammy Legzdins went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Tyler Thompson made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Chappell. Faversham City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Ricky Jenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 50 minutes into the match, Faversham City's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Newton came free, but Romeo Chappell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sammy Legzdins made the kick off in the second half. Bryan Woodhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute, Sammy Legzdins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kirk Carlick was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Billy Newton scored 2-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Chappell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sammy Legzdins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirk Carlick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Legzdins, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Sammy Legzdins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Bryan Woodhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faversham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Woodhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Havant getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tyler Mudd hit a great ball. Havant's Kirk Carlick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Legzdins in the 81st minute of play. Den Redwood-Turner hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Billy Newton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Romeo Chappell was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Billy Newton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Chappell having to interfere. 91 minutes in the game, Tyler Thompson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romeo Chappell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Legzdins in the 93rd minute of play forced Havant's goalkeeper Kirk Carlick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th play minute Billy Newton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romeo Chappell. 2-4. Havant's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
