When Harry Cadwallader came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Dove Holes City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Cadwallader couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dove Holes City's goalkeeper Pierre Little, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Cadwallader in the 18th minute of play forced White Wolves Utd's goalkeeper Lloyd Logan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dove Holes City's zone, Rio Butters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Little came out of the goal and Rio Butters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Dove Holes City booed when White Wolves Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Butterworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre Little took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Carter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When White Wolves Utd's Dave Carter in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pierre Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Dove Holes City's Johnathon Oldham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lloyd Logan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Larry Folwill was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Larry Folwill hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, White Wolves Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Cadwallader came free, but Lloyd Logan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Cadwallader took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lloyd Logan. Lloyd Logan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, White Wolves Utd's Harvey Brighton got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Johnathon Oldham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lloyd Logan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Butters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dove Holes City had won after a very even match.
