Nicholas Lappin was a little too slow when Harry Cadwallader got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. George Prutton kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Harry Cadwallader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Ambleside's Nicholas Lappin got control of the ball when Johnathon Oldham tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Cadwallader in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicholas Lappin saved Ambleside from getting behind. After having played for 40 minutes, Johnathon Oldham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Niall Warden fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Cadwallader was the one to do the kick off. Nicholas Lappin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Cadwallader's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Johnathon Oldham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Cadwallader in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicholas Lappin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harry Cadwallader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nicholas Lappin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Ambleside's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathon Oldham came free, but Nicholas Lappin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dove Holes City's attack was well implemented in the 74th minute, but when Johnathon Oldham was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Pierre Little stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Prutton's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dove Holes City's zone, Kasey Holmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Little came out of the goal and Kasey Holmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnathon Oldham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nicholas Lappin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Dove Holes City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
