The referee ignored Burnham on Sea United's protests and gave Archie McGovern a yellow card for diving instead. Archie McGovern kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Danil Kalyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danil Kalyanov scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Nelson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geoff Bowe to strike the kick off in the second half. Danil Kalyanovs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Oscar Nelson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Danil Kalyanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geoff Bowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Burnham on Sea United booed when Never win a cup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Haskell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Never win a cup FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
