Robin Bishop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beinn Rushforth having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Butcher made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Houghton Regis FC's Dennis Reed got a free kick in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Butcher in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beinn Rushforth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Houghton Regis FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonathan Butcher 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. After 94 played minutes Jonathan Butcher could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. team fortnite had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
