Ronan Hornsby stood somewhat misplaced when Gerry Knott came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. Gerry Knott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Hornsby having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Gerry Knott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronan Hornsby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Knott in the 39th minute of the match. Gerry Knott might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronan Hornsby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerry Knott ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gerry Knott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dunton Green fully deserved thier win.
