Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Dedham's Freddie Pryor got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Warren Shuttleworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Warren Shuttleworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Craig Pitts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Warren Shuttleworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timothy Beck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Pitts having to interfere. Belton United's Craig Pitts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Shuttleworth in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Timothy Beck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timothy Beck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Craig Pitts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Dedham got a freekick which was hit by Warren Shuttleworth. Timothy Beck struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Craig Pitts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dedham. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Craig Pitts successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Timothy Becks short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Craig Pitts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Belton United's zone, Warren Shuttleworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Craig Pitts came out of the goal and Warren Shuttleworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Craig Pitts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Warren Shuttleworth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Warren Shuttleworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Pitts having to interfere. Craig Pitts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warren Shuttleworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Craig Pitts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Shuttleworth in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Timothy Beck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belton United's Craig Pitts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Shaun Mulford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dedham's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaun Mulford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Pitts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seb Walmsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Burbeary having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Belton United's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Beck came free, but Craig Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timothy Beck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Belton United defense, Warren Shuttleworth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Craig Pitts. The Belton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Craig Pitts should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Warren Shuttleworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Warren Shuttleworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Craig Pitts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Beck in the 98th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dedham had played much better football throughout.
