Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Freddie Pryor started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's Rodney Bridgeman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Warren Shuttleworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddie Pryor struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Thomas Basterfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dedham. Ted Budden's late challenge caught a Dedham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ted Budden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Dedham. Calvin Moyse stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thomas Basterfield. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thom Dobson got free with Jake Burbeary in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jake Burbeary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seth Easter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Pryor came free, but Thomas Basterfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seth Easter was the one to do the kick off. Seth Easter struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jake Burbeary didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS. Thomas Basterfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thom Dobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Burbeary having to interfere. Seth Easter might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jake Burbeary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seth Easter ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Basterfield was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Freddie Pryor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddie Pryor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After recieving a nice pass, Dedham's Calvin Moyse tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Warren Shuttleworth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dedham's supporters rose to their feet, but Warren Shuttleworth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Basterfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thom Dobson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seth Easter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jake Burbeary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
