Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dave Rooney kicked off to start the match. Jim Odell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Broad in the 9th minute of the match. When addiscombe corinthians 4D's Barry Broad in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brackley's goalie prevented a goal. Kurt Bright made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Colman in the 12th minute. Kurt Bright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Rooney in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Broad in the 25th minute of play forced Brackley's goalkeeper Jim Odell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Barry Broad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Odell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Barry Broad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Odell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lance Prutton charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lance Prutton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lance Prutton kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sonny Downes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Sammy Morris came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the addiscombe corinthians 4D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Morris couldn't finish the play. If Steven Albright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Broad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Odell came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by addiscombe corinthians 4D's Steven Albright. But to his dismay, Steven Albright quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half addiscombe corinthians 4D were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Albright to make the kick off. Dave Rooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes, Barry Broad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the addiscombe corinthians 4D and the Brackley players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Rooney in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Bright saved addiscombe corinthians 4D from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Pete Moyse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. addiscombe corinthians 4D's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brackley the free kick. The supporters of Brackley booed when addiscombe corinthians 4D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Moyse didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Colman in the 63rd minute of play forced addiscombe corinthians 4D's goalkeeper Kurt Bright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to addiscombe corinthians 4D getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ben Harkin hit a great ball. addiscombe corinthians 4D's Kurt Bright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Rooney in the 68th minute of play. If Paul Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Brackley got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Markinson. Jim Odell was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sammy Morris. If Steven Albright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Colman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Colman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Bright having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Paul Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brackley's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Colman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Bright breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, addiscombe corinthians 4D's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Rooney came free, but Kurt Bright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. addiscombe corinthians 4D's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
