Darren Gallacher's late challenge caught a Pinebrook AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darren Gallacher helped the player get up and apologised. Darren Gallacher hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Glenn Bennett sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caistor's Russell Horseman didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richie Hutchinson got free with Ashley Parkin in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Barry McMahon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ashley Parkin was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Russell Horseman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Pack in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Syd Logan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Russell Horseman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute Barry McMahon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashley Parkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pinebrook AFC's Ashley Parkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry McMahon in the 38th minute of play. Caistor's Russell Horseman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Bean in the 40th minute of play. Darren Gallacher was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Bean in the 55th minute of play forced Caistor's goalkeeper Russell Horseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Bean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Russell Horseman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gez Notley kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Caistor getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Richie Hutchinson hit a great ball. When CJ Southgate fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caistor's protests and gave CJ Southgate a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, one of Caistor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caistor. The goalkeeper, Russell Horseman, was totally fooled by Pinebrook AFC's Glenn Bennett, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sammy Pack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Russell Horseman made a huge save. When Sammy Pack came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pinebrook AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Pack couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Caistor getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Barry McMahon hit a great ball. Sammy Pack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Horseman having to interfere. If Rio Small had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Richie Hutchinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caistor's supporters rose to their feet, but Richie Hutchinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ashley Parkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97thth minute of the game Richie Hutchinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinebrook AFC's Ashley Parkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Caistor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pinebrook AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pinebrook AFC.
