Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Maidenhead City's Jamal Lonsdale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Maidenhead City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Everard to maneuver through the defense. Denzil Booth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Maidenhead City getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fred Welsh hit a great ball. Maidenhead City's Seth Westerby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Bartrup in the 13th minute of play. Skipton AFC's Mike Jackson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Maidenhead City got a freekick which was hit by Franz Everard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Jackson in the 20th minute of play forced Maidenhead City's goalkeeper Seth Westerby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Luke Lobb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Jamal Lonsdale made a precise shot to the right of Shaun Medlin. Skipton AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Denzil Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Seth Westerby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denzil Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Lobb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Medlin having to interfere. Jamal Lonsdale might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shaun Medlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamal Lonsdale ran back to his position shaking his head. Jamal Lonsdale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Medlin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamal Lonsdale in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaun Medlin saved Skipton AFC from getting behind. When Maidenhead City's Johnnie Holdsworth in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skipton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mike Jackson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Skipton AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dale Pilkington hit a great ball. Jamal Lonsdale might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shaun Medlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamal Lonsdale ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maidenhead City's goalkeeper Seth Westerby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Denzil Booth notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maidenhead City's Seth Westerby. Seth Westerby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurence Caine kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Dale Pilkington's late challenge caught a Maidenhead City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dale Pilkington helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skipton AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dale Pilkington hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Jackson in the 78th minute of play forced Maidenhead City's goalkeeper Seth Westerby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Mike Jackson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seth Westerby was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 84th minute, Dale Pilkington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Maidenhead City's Fred Welsh in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Maidenhead City's Warren Curtis got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Maidenhead City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Skipton AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
