Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ollie Brindley started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Steven Chiverton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leigh Spurgeon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Liam Bennett could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Eric Burrows however easily saved by the left post. Ollie Brindley succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 11th match minute, Whitechapel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Bayne to maneuver through the defense. Camron Cheeseman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leigh Spurgeon having to interfere. After 14 played minutes, Kings Lynn's Paddy Berryman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leigh Spurgeon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kings Lynn reached it. After 15 played minutes Whitechapel got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Bayne. After a defensive mix-up in Kings Lynn's zone, Liam Bennett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Burrows came out of the goal and Liam Bennett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Liam Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Burrows was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ollie Brindley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. If Steven Chiverton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Cheeseman in the 36th minute of play forced Whitechapel's goalkeeper Leigh Spurgeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kings Lynn fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Kings Lynn's Camron Cheeseman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Chiverton to make the kick off. Vincent Bayne kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Whitechapel's Leigh Spurgeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Whitechapel from getting a goal against them. Eric Burrows took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Bennett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Steven Chiverton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Spurgeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie Brindley might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Burrows. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ollie Brindley ran back to his position shaking his head. Whitechapel's Leigh Spurgeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Whitechapel from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute Liam Bennett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Burrows saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Burrows showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritchie Bowler in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Kings Lynn booed when Whitechapel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Griggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven Chiverton had several of the Whitechapel's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Leigh Spurgeon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Liam Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Burrows having to interfere. Whitechapel's Ollie Brindley got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Burrows didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liam Bennett went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ollie Brindley in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Burrows saved Kings Lynn from getting behind. 96 minutes into the game, Whitechapel's Ollie Brindley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Burrows made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Whitechapel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
