If Josh Abbotts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, Owlham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Ploughman to maneuver through the defense. Özgür Kilic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Dixon in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Stamford Stalwarts getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Chip Stayton hit a great ball. Kenny Kenworthy charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Kenworthy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Owlham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Kenworthy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Owlham Athletic's zone, Josh Abbotts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özgür Kilic came out of the goal and Josh Abbotts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Owlham Athletic's Özgür Kilic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Dixon in the 22nd minute of play. Ron Dixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özgür Kilic having to interfere. Özgür Kilic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Locking, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Özgür Kilic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Abbotts in the 30th minute of play. If Josh Abbotts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josh Abbotts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özgür Kilic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Dixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özgür Kilic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Abbotts in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Dixon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ronan Gallagher took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Özgür Kilic to make any attempt to save it. Özgür Kilic made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Josh Abbotts sent off a good shot on target. When Ron Dixon came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Stamford Stalwarts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Dixon couldn't finish the play. Özgür Kilic made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Josh Abbotts sent off a good shot on target. Stamford Stalwarts's Josh Abbotts got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ron Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Özgür Kilic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Ron Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgür Kilic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özgür Kilic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Dixon in the 84th minute of the match. In the last second Özgür Kilic throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ron Dixon in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Owlham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Dixon came free, but Özgür Kilic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Owlham Athletic's zone, Ron Dixon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özgür Kilic came out of the goal and Ron Dixon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graeme Ploughman kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ron Dixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Özgür Kilic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
