Stefan Blower took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liam Bolton. Liam Bolton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 37 minutes, Trey Knowles made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. carrick red star's Liam Bolton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Liam Bolton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Knowles in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Teddy Gibson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Liam Bolton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trey Knowles, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of carrick red star booed when Clevland hall fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken Nowland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charlie Crooks struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dean Fleming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for carrick red star. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Trey Knowles put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Liam Bolton. Dean Fleming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Crooks in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Ross Sawbridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ken Nowland in the 83rd minute really tested Liam Bolton's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Trey Knowles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Charlie Crooks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Fleming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Clevland hall fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than carrick red star throughout the match.
