Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ian Barnfield made the kick off which started today's match. After 11 played minutes All Star XI got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Burnham. 13 minutes into the match, Ian Barnfield dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Steve Titmuss, 1-0. In the 18th minute Lewis Burnham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Bateman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Titmuss made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Philip Leather sent off a good shot on target. When William Cowling fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored All Star XI's protests and gave William Cowling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, All Star XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Cowling to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Dale Kennedy notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of All Star XI's Steve Titmuss. Steve Titmuss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mitch Land kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Mitch Land mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Star XI and the Brighouse United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Mitch Land hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to All Star XI getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Phil Brownlow hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Burnham to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, All Star XI's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Barnfield came free, but Steve Titmuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Dale Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Titmuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lewis Burnham scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sol Bateman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steve Titmuss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Warren Wiley went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 78 minutes, Warren Wiley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brighouse United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Warren Wiley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Warren Wiley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Titmuss having to interfere. All Star XI's Lewis Burnham got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brighouse United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
