Lewis Burnham started the match with the kick off. Matty Barton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dominic Hilton made a huge save. Steve Titmuss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trev Llyod's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. All Star XI's Steve Titmuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trev Llyod in the 28th minute of play. Tommy Elam scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve Titmuss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Nowland in the 33rd minute of play forced All Star XI's goalkeeper Steve Titmuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Holt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. All Star XI's Lewis Burnham got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steve Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Elam in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Lewis Burnham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Christian Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Titmuss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zack Mallaby showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Lewis Burnham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Star XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Burnham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, All Star XI's William Cowling got a free kick in the 80th minute. Steve Titmuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mick Wardell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of All Star XI booed when Uffington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trev Llyod didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lewis Burnham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uffington's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
