Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Scott Gordon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 played minutes Kenilworth FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Norman. After recieving a nice pass, FC SAMBA's Shaun Bolton tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tyrone Ellershaw succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. FC SAMBA's Kelvin Golding played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beinn Etherington in the 11th minute of play. Scott Gordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kelvin Golding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Gordon in the 23rd minute of play forced FC SAMBA's goalkeeper Kelvin Golding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SAMBA's goalkeeper Kelvin Golding, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Tyrone Ellershaw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SAMBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrone Ellershaw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kelvin Golding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Gordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Gordon in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kelvin Golding prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Shawn Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shawn Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marc Brazier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Norman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shawn Bannister was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Tyrone Ellershaw had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Brazier. Kenilworth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyrone Ellershaw was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 58th minute, Kenilworth FC's Scott Gordon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kelvin Golding. Kelvin Golding yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Kristian Cambridge kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Shaun Bolton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jeffrey Jefferies kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Tyrone Ellershaw struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Marc Brazier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC SAMBA. Tommy Norman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tyrone Ellershaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrone Ellershaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marc Brazier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelvin Golding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Gordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scott Gordon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kelvin Golding having to make a save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
