Morecambe FC's Tyrone Bittner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Bannister in the 12th minute of play. Christian Hopkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Oliver Jennings's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kelvin Golding was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Oliver Jennings sped through FC SAMBA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kelvin Golding. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyrone Ellershaw got free with Tyrone Bittner in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kelvin Golding took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Hopkinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylon Revell hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Christian Hopkinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Christian Hopkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot.
