Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Greg Ablethorpe came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Malmesbury's Keiran Pearch. But to his dismay, Keiran Pearch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Garry Langford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Malmesbury booed when Cowplain United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Selby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Keiran Pearch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg Ablethorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greg Ablethorpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keiran Pearch in the 29th minute of the match. After 33rd play minutes Tyler Selby shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Malcolm Castledine and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 37th minute, William Trotter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malmesbury's Tommy Black got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malmesbury's Keiran Pearch got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tyler Selby made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyler Selby in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Castledine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Trotter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Garry Langford came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Cowplain United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garry Langford couldn't finish the play. Malcolm Castledine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garry Langford in the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cowplain United's zone, Keiran Pearch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Ablethorpe came out of the goal and Keiran Pearch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Keiran Pearch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cowplain United's Greg Ablethorpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cowplain United's goal looked a bit too open when Keiran Pearch came free, but Greg Ablethorpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greg Ablethorpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Trotter in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Malmesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Tyler Selby came free, but Malcolm Castledine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cowplain United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Samuel Todd hit a great ball. William Trotter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Greg Ablethorpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, William Trotter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
