Dave Ainsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Hustaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Graham Brown made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Arsenio Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pat Berryman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pat Berryman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Arsenio Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stevie Fordham kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Buxton FC's Ollie Whiteley tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Dave Ainsworth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tristan Baldwin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anestis Iymperopoulou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Brown having to interfere. When Arsenio Hustaz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Watford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Hustaz couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Watford FC's 冯坤枫 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Graham Brown. Graham Brown yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 冯坤枫 in the 44th minute of play forced Buxton FC's goalkeeper Graham Brown to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Graham Brown tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anestis Iymperopoulou came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Watford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Iymperopoulou couldn't finish the play. After the first half Buxton FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Digby was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, 冯坤枫 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watford FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 冯坤枫 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Graham Brown breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Digby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Baldwin having to interfere. When 冯坤枫 came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Watford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 冯坤枫 couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Watford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Hustaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camron Gough hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 冯坤枫 struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Graham Brown didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watford FC. In the 77th minute, 冯坤枫 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Graham Brown was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 冯坤枫 hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 4-2 when 冯坤枫 sped through Buxton FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Graham Brown. 冯坤枫 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Graham Brown tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match Watford FC got a corner. Buxton FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joe Tate ran over to the corner to take the kick. Watford FC's Joe Tate was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Graham Brown in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Graham Brown showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 冯坤枫 in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Watford FC were the better team. Watford FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
