After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Blair Reid got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Frank Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Blair Reid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair Reid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Faith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Lee-Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Milligan in the 39th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Rhys England to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea's goalkeeper Rhys England, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luke Faith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the game, Blair Reid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZEIG AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Blair Reid got a free kick in the 66th minute. ZEIG AFC's Luke Faith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Knight in the 71st minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Lee-Barrett couldn't finish the play. Chelsea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
