In the 12th minute, one of Bramhall AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bramhall AFC. Keanu Blackley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garry England made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Murtagh in the 27th minute of play. Max Gulliver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keanu Blackley in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Smart in the 42nd minute of play forced Otley's goalkeeper Garry England to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quentin Oldham was the one to do the kick off. Quentin Oldham struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Max Gulliver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otley. Christian Monk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Garry England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Bramhall AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Oldham came free, but Max Gulliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Keanu Blackley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otley's supporters rose to their feet, but Keanu Blackley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Gulliver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Monk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Garry England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Monk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry England having to make a save. A collision led to Otley getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kris Beale hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Otley had won after a very even match.
