Benjamin Bettinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ken Hind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Benjamin Bettinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpros's Ken Hind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Spike Vickers fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorlton's protests and gave Spike Vickers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Liverpros booed when Chorlton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spike Vickers didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Chorlton getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. John Paul Flower hit a great ball. Joshua Goldsmith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ken Hind was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Richie Copsey. Ken Hind made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Philip Blake sent off a good shot on target. Philip Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Hind having to interfere. With his leg Ken Hind managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Chorlton's Philip Blake fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Liverpros booed when Chorlton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alec Eglington didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Liverpros's Ken Hind got control of the ball when Philip Blake tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Philip Blake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorlton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Blake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Liverpros's Ken Hind got control of the ball when Philip Blake tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Benjamin Bettinson made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Bettinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liverpros's Ken Hind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Blake in the 57th minute of play. Philip Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ken Hind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Blake in the 61st minute of play forced Liverpros's goalkeeper Ken Hind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominic Deacon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Philip Blake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorlton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Blake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ken Hind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Bettinson in the 64th minute of play. Ken Hind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Blake in the 65th minute of the match. Joshua Goldsmith came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tim Bowen could save by the left post. After 69 minutes, Fitz Gildea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorlton and the Liverpros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chorlton's Fitz Gildea got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute George Sharpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Bowen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Liverpros's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Bettinson came free, but Ken Hind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Goldsmith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tim Bowen made a huge save. Liverpros's Ken Hind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Blake in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Chorlton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gav Hartson to maneuver through the defense. Philip Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Hind having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Bettinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ken Hind was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chorlton had played much better football throughout.
