The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Dylan Leslie made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dylan Leslie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Brighouse AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Leslie came free, but Abraham Robson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Jenkins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 81 minutes, Simon Sutcliffe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bingley City and the Brighouse AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Simon Sutcliffe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Robson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Pickard, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Dylan Leslie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bingley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylan Leslie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dylan Leslie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Brighouse AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Joe Palmer hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bingley City's Sean Waple tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Brighouse AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
