Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miles Golding started the match with the kick off. Jake Bramble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Denny Seaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron Millman's late challenge caught a Camberwell FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ron Millman helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Stephen Britton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camberwell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Britton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Seaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ron Millman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelvin Ridgeway having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Camberwell FC's Daniel Marlow got a free kick in the 15th minute. Camberwell FC's Kelvin Ridgeway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miles Golding in the 17th minute of play. Wem FC's Denny Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Wem FC from getting a goal against them. Denny Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Bramble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kelvin Ridgeway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miles Golding, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Pete Rose hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miles Golding in the 34th minute of play forced Camberwell FC's goalkeeper Kelvin Ridgeway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denny Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Bramble in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Camberwell FC's Zaq Braithwaite seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zaq Braithwaite the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Camberwell FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zaq Braithwaite had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 43 minutes into the game, one of Camberwell FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kelvin Ridgeway had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Pete Rose's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wem FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pete Rose in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stephen Britton made the kick off in the second half. Miles Golding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Miles Golding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kelvin Ridgeway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stephen Britton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Drake scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denny Seaman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Ron Millman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kelvin Ridgeway was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 76 minutes, Miles Golding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miles Golding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Miles Golding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kelvin Ridgeway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kelvin Ridgeway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Golding in the 90th minute of play. Miles Golding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Camberwell FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jools Ramsay hit a great ball. Camberwell FC's Kelvin Ridgeway proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Camberwell FC from getting a goal against them. The Wem FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
