Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edward Freeman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Danny Coe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 6 minutes, Jermaine Shaw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sturminster Newton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jermaine Shaw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rio McGrath could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Simon Young made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Darius Blewett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Darius Blewett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rio McGrath came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Northampton Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rio McGrath couldn't finish the play. Simon Young was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darius Blewett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Edward Freeman scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ty Slater, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Darius Blewett came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Northampton Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darius Blewett couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darius Blewett to make the kick off. Simon Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio McGrath in the 52nd minute of the match. When Rio McGrath came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Northampton Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rio McGrath couldn't finish the play. Darius Blewett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Simon Young tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio McGrath in the 63rd minute of play. Rio McGrath's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Young read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Jermaine Shaw charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jermaine Shaw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sturminster Newton's Jermaine Shaw got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Darius Blewett came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Northampton Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darius Blewett couldn't finish the play. In the 69th match minute, Sturminster Newton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Freeman to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Billie Morgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northampton Saints's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sturminster Newton the free kick. After 70 played minutes Northampton Saints got a freekick which was hit by Billie Morgan. 73 minutes into the match, Darius Blewett notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sturminster Newton's Simon Young. Simon Young was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Darius Blewett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Young having to make a save. Edward Freeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Slater having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rio McGrath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northampton Saints's supporters rose to their feet, but Rio McGrath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Young breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rio McGrath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Hutchings during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sturminster Newton getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alexander Hutchings hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Northampton Saints players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
