Dave Mansell hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Jools Mallaby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Miles Deveraux came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Wimborne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miles Deveraux couldn't finish the play. Kurt Featherstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jools Mallaby, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Camden United booed when Wimborne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Sewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Ferrell in the 19th minute of play forced Wimborne's goalkeeper Matthew Southgate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jools Mallaby who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Kurt Featherstone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Miles Deveraux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Bobby Myers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wimborne's goalkeeper Matthew Southgate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Miles Deveraux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wimborne's supporters rose to their feet, but Miles Deveraux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Featherstone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bobby Myers during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Wimborne got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Myers. Stephen Ferrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Southgate having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Stephen Ferrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camden United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephen Ferrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Sebastien Parkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Southgate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miles Deveraux's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kurt Featherstone firmly grabbed it by the left post. Camden United's Kurt Featherstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Camden United from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jools Mallaby made a kick off. The supporters of Camden United booed when Wimborne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jools Mallaby didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Stephen Ferrell sped through Wimborne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matthew Southgate. 57 minutes into the game, Dave Mansell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camden United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wimborne the free kick. After a rather tough play, Camden United's Dave Mansell got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Wimborne's Miles Deveraux in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Camden United's goalie prevented a goal. Kurt Featherstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miles Deveraux in the 66th minute of play. Matthew Southgate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Ferrell in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Camden United's Stephen Ferrell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. If Stephen Ferrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Southgate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastien Parkin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 93 minutes into the match, Camden United's Sebastien Parkin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthew Southgate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sacha Sewell hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Camden United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
