The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kev Coulthard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Worth, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Robbie Worth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Will Kalischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Howarth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Nelson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when BEDFORD's Brendon Nelson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Brendon Nelson made a precise shot to the right of Victor Howarth. Barnetby Le Wold United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Victor Howarth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Nelson in the 26th minute of the match. Barnetby Le Wold United's Victor Howarth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Nelson in the 27th minute of play. BEDFORD were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Barnetby Le Wold United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Byron Reeves took the corner. Byron Reeves made a great header on BEDFORD's corner, it was just that Barnetby Le Wold United's Victor Howarth managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 32nd minute, Will Kalischer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barnetby Le Wold United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Todd Crossley might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kev Coulthard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todd Crossley ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 39 in the game by Will Kalischer from a close distance when the talented Kev Coulthard managed to make a qualified save. BEDFORD's players were relieved. Nial Hough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Howarth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Darren Watkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Howarth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Nelson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Barnetby Le Wold United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BEDFORD were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Will Kalischer made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Will Kalischer notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BEDFORD's Kev Coulthard. Kev Coulthard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BEDFORD's attentive Toby Kershaw managed to snatch the ball when Dylan Titmus made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the game, Dylan Titmus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnetby Le Wold United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEDFORD the free kick. Nial Hough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victor Howarth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendon Nelson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Victor Howarth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Victor Howarth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Nelson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kev Coulthard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Gillow in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Will Kalischer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kev Coulthard was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Barnetby Le Wold United's Victor Howarth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Barnetby Le Wold United from getting a goal against them. Kev Coulthard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Kalischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Kalischer in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kev Coulthard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Will Kalischer struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Kev Coulthard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnetby Le Wold United. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
