A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Dalton In Furness FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Sherwood came free, but Rowan Milner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rowan Milner came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Skipton City's Gordon Sherwood. But to his dismay, Gordon Sherwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tommy Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Milner having to interfere. Tommy Furlong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gordon Sherwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rowan Milner. That made the score 4-0 in the 48 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Sherwood made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Skipton City's Des Beadle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowan Milner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gordon Sherwood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rowan Milner was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Tommy Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Milner having to interfere. Rowan Milner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Furlong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Gordon Sherwood notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Dalton In Furness FC's Rowan Milner. Rowan Milner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gordon Sherwood struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Rowan Milner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skipton City. Rowan Milner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Sherwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dalton In Furness FC's zone, Gordon Sherwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rowan Milner came out of the goal and Gordon Sherwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordon Sherwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rowan Milner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalton In Furness FC's Rowan Milner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Furlong in the 93rd minute of play.
