Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonny McGrath started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Rupert Kirkpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Fawell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Les Jump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cliff Hodges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Jump fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Warner having to interfere. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cliff Hodges in the 25th minute of play. The corner ended in Johnathan Brooke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jórvik FC's Dale Warner did a great save. In the 27th match minute, Jórvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Kirkpatrick to maneuver through the defense. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cliff Hodges in the 30th minute of play. Les Jump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Les Jump made a precise shot to the right of Dale Warner. Jórvik FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dale Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Hodges, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Les Jump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Jump fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Warner having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cliff Hodges made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Hodges in the 53rd minute of play forced Jórvik FC's goalkeeper Dale Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shane Poynton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Danny Gilchrist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wigan FC's Oscar Fawell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Ronan Bower was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jórvik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wigan FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Jórvik FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronan Bower. In the 71st minute, Les Jump got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Shuttleworth in the 74th minute of play forced Jórvik FC's goalkeeper Dale Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Les Jump in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dale Warner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Les Jump might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale Warner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Les Jump ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 85 in the game by Les Jump from a close distance when the talented Dale Warner managed to make a qualified save. Jórvik FC's players were relieved. In the 86th minute, Cliff Hodges made a precise shot to the right of Dale Warner. Jórvik FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 92 minutes into the match, Wigan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny McGrath came free, but Oscar Fawell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Wigan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jórvik FC.
