Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alistair Boyd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alistair Boyd got free with Aaron Hazledine in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th match minute, Hull FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ross Barraclough to maneuver through the defense. Ross Barraclough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ross Barraclough took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Hazledine. Aaron Hazledine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Youngblood Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Boyd came free, but Aaron Hazledine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hull FC's Ash Townsend got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 37 played minutes, Hull FC's Cody Forrest shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Hazledine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hull FC reached it. Peter Simpson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Garth Fearns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garth Fearns was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alistair Boyd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Hazledine was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ash Townsend hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Berdaitz Ibanez made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Garth Fearns sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the game, Cody Forrest was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hull FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Youngblood Youth Academy the free kick. After 70 played minutes Hull FC got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Boyd. The supporters of Youngblood Youth Academy booed when Hull FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Boyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Garth Fearns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hull FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Peter Simpson hit a great ball. Nial Brodie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Berdaitz Ibanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Hazledine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damion Fairs in the 87th minute of the match. Damion Fairs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Byron Cox made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ross Barraclough however managed to control. 97 minutes into the match, Youngblood Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Boyd came free, but Aaron Hazledine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hull FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
