Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gav Cornish got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Gav Cornish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Fordingbridge FC booed when Alsager AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Grayson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Gav Cornish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Kyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob Parslow during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alsager AFC booed when Fordingbridge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Parslow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenny Kyle made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Verne Griffin sent off a good shot on target. Kenny Kyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Cornish in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Crispin Elvins during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Alsager AFC got a freekick which was hit by Crispin Elvins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gav Cornish in the 25th minute of play forced Alsager AFC's goalkeeper Kenny Kyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fordingbridge FC's Calum Markinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Thomas in the 28th minute of play. Calum Markinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Worrall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fraser Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Shane Worrall put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Calum Markinson. Calum Markinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Worrall in the 45th minute of the match. If Shane Worrall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Gary Frampton hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes in the game Albert Grayson after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Calum Markinson. A very good opportunity. Kenny Kyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verne Griffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gav Cornish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Verne Griffin made a precise shot to the right of Kenny Kyle. Alsager AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fraser Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Calum Markinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calum Markinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fraser Thomas in the 65th minute of play. Marty Hartshorn charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marty Hartshorn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marty Hartshorn hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alsager AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by CJ Quantrill in the 74th minute. The corner led Alsager AFC's CJ Quantrill to fire away a dangerous shot which Calum Markinson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gav Cornish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gav Cornish managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fordingbridge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gav Cornish was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Kyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, John-Paul Bradley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Alsager AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fordingbridge FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
