Blair Carragher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Sercombe in the 9th minute of the match. Graham Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graham Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Sutherland having to interfere. Pedro Murray charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 21 minutes of play Bedford City's Rich Bailey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
