The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, The dark legendary's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Penn came free, but Kris Furlong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Knapton getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Glenn Harkin hit a great ball. Brad Wardill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Knapton's Sean Hudson got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Pat Allott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Knapton's goalkeeper Joshua Endean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conan Hanson. Glenn Harkin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kris Furlong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knapton. 42 minutes into the match, The dark legendary's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Wagstaff came free, but Kris Furlong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Conan Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Wardill in the 47th minute of play forced Knapton's goalkeeper Joshua Endean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pat Allott stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brad Wardill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Endean having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Wardill in the 54th minute of play forced Knapton's goalkeeper Joshua Endean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glen Locking during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Glen Locking hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Conan Hanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CJ Wagstaff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Furlong having to interfere. CJ Wagstaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kris Furlong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Conan Hanson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joshua Endean. In the 77th minute, Conan Hanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joshua Endean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conan Hanson in the 78th minute of the match. Pat Allott got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kris Furlong handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Knapton's CJ Wagstaff got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
