Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tommy Moxon took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Tiverton getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rhys Wing hit a great ball. Tiverton's John-Paul Butters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Moxon in the 5th minute of play. Will Grayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orson Van Der Hoorn having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Tiverton's Orson Van Der Hoorn threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gus Heath, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Tommy Moxon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gus Heath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Freddie Jenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Paul Butters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes, Barking's Kelvin Waddington shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper John-Paul Butters came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barking reached it. After 22 played minutes Tiverton got a freekick which was hit by Blair Little. Andre Hird charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Hird the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John-Paul Butters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Moxon's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 33 minutes, Blair Little mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiverton and the Barking players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tiverton getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Blair Little hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Moxon in the 37th minute of play forced Tiverton's goalkeeper John-Paul Butters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Heath in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orson Van Der Hoorn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Will Grayson sped through Barking's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orson Van Der Hoorn. The supporters of Tiverton booed when Barking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Hird didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Andre Hird sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John-Paul Butters skillfully saved the ball. Will Grayson struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Orson Van Der Hoorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiverton. If Freddie Jenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tommy Moxon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John-Paul Butters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddie Jenas in the 81st minute. Tiverton's Blair Little got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Blair Little off the ground. In the 83rd minute, Blair Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gus Heath hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. John-Paul Butters was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andre Hird. Orson Van Der Hoorn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Will Grayson went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Richard Spears charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Spears the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barking's Richard Spears got a free kick in the 96th minute. Tiverton were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barking for a fine match.
