Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gregory Mead took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bart Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Wardman having to interfere. Ruben Lawton made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Dion West sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 14 minutes, Dion West managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dion West was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregory Mead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Dion West got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruben Lawton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bart Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Wardman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benji Goodfellow during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes F.C. Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Benji Goodfellow. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Mead in the 36th minute of play forced Crewe's goalkeeper Ruben Lawton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Lawton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Mead in the 38th minute of play. Ruben Lawton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dion West in the 40th minute. Ruben Lawton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Mead, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Bart Furlong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonny Wardman. F.C. Liverpool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Furlong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Furlong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Ellis got free with Jonny Wardman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Ellis in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonny Wardman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute Gregory Mead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Lawton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Seagrave charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Seagrave the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Crewe's Leo Seagrave got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Crewe's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Rockett came free, but Ruben Lawton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of F.C. Liverpool booed when Crewe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huey Wilkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jeff Hales fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crewe's protests and gave Jeff Hales a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Jeff Hales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Crewe got a freekick which was hit by Allan Ellis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Furlong in the 81st minute of play forced F.C. Liverpool's goalkeeper Jonny Wardman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bart Furlong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 87 in the game by Allan Ellis from a close distance when the talented Jonny Wardman managed to make a qualified save. F.C. Liverpool's players were relieved. Bart Furlong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jonny Wardman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dion West fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Lawton having to interfere. Sonny Bennett kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Dion West's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Lawton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Crewe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
