Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philip Granger started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ollie Moorhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skegness's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie Moorhouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brad Cryer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Skegness booed when Werrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Kirk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rob Oldham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piers Nethercot's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Rob Oldham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piers Nethercot, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Skegness's Rob Oldham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piers Nethercot in the 24th minute of play. Lee Alderson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Philip Granger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Oldham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skegness's Rob Oldham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Kirk in the 33rd minute of play. Joe Kirk charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joe Kirk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skegness booed when Werrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Kirk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ollie Moorhouse in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brad Cryer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The long shot by Johnnie Watson in the 42nd minute really tested Brad Cryer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Brad Endean fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skegness's protests and gave Brad Endean a yellow card for diving instead. Rob Oldham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Granger, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Johnnie Watson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ollie Moorhouse to make the kick off. Brad Cryer came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Skegness's Brad Endean. But to his dismay, Brad Endean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Piers Nethercot's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Rob Oldham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Skegness's Rob Oldham got control of the ball when Piers Nethercot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ollie Moorhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Cryer having to interfere. Brad Cryer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Blower, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Joe Kirk got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rob Oldham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piers Nethercot in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute Philip Granger suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Johnnie Watson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Brad Cryer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Moorhouse in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Piers Nethercot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Hackney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rob Oldham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Werrington's zone, John Blower stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brad Cryer came out of the goal and John Blower tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Alderson in the 88th minute of play forced Skegness's goalkeeper Rob Oldham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brad Cryer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Blower in the 91st minute of the match. Skegness were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Werrington for a fine match.
