Zaq Afful kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Adam Ealham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfie Newman. Worksop's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Ealham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Worksop's zone, Adam Ealham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfie Newman came out of the goal and Adam Ealham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Cliff Caton notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Worksop's Alfie Newman. Alfie Newman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute Adam Ealham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfie Newman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Ealham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wimbledon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
