Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Reg Wiseman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Poynton booed when Edgware AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Thomson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reg Wiseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Edgware AFC's zone, Reg Wiseman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Postolan came out of the goal and Reg Wiseman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeff Postolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reg Wiseman in the 13th minute of play. Josh Tucker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Miles Prior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Josh Tucker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miles Prior was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute, Paul Clist made a precise shot to the right of Jeff Postolan. Edgware AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Edgware AFC's zone, Reg Wiseman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Postolan came out of the goal and Reg Wiseman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miles Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowan Snowdon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reg Wiseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Claydon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Josh Tucker in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miles Prior, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josh Tucker got free with Miles Prior in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Poynton getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Barrie Holland hit a great ball. Jeff Postolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reg Wiseman in the 83rd minute of the match. If Josh Tucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rowan Snowdon came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Edgware AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowan Snowdon couldn't finish the play. Josh Tucker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Miles Prior made a huge save. Josh Tucker might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miles Prior. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josh Tucker ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeff Postolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reg Wiseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Paul Clist notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Edgware AFC's Jeff Postolan. Jeff Postolan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Edgware AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Poynton from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
