Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vernon Cooke got the match started through his kick off. Trev Sercombe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Trev Sercombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Turk kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Vernon Cooke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Spike Gallagher in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kris Duckworth saved Halstead from getting behind. Shane Deeney struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jimmy Carter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halstead. Halstead's Kris Duckworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon Cooke in the 23rd minute of play. Trev Sercombe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vernon Cooke in the 30th minute of play forced Halstead's goalkeeper Kris Duckworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vernon Cooke in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kris Duckworth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Halstead's Frazer Forrest in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blewbury United's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Blewbury United's zone, Frazer Forrest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Carter came out of the goal and Frazer Forrest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Trev Sercombe in the 54th minute of play forced Halstead's goalkeeper Kris Duckworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Deeney in the 56th minute of play forced Blewbury United's goalkeeper Jimmy Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Blewbury United got a freekick which was hit by James Wishart. If Shane Deeney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Frazer Forrest made a precise shot to the right of Jimmy Carter. Blewbury United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halstead's goalkeeper Kris Duckworth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy Carter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frazer Forrest in the 68th minute. If Shane Deeney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frazer Forrest struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jimmy Carter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halstead. In the 75th minute, Blewbury United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frazer Forrest fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Deeney in the 76th minute of play forced Blewbury United's goalkeeper Jimmy Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Vernon Cooke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halstead's Kris Duckworth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vernon Cooke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris Duckworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vernon Cooke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Vernon Cooke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kris Duckworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Frazer Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halstead's supporters rose to their feet, but Frazer Forrest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Carter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, Halstead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Leslie to maneuver through the defense. Trev Sercombe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Halstead players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
