Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reg Wright kicked off to start the match. Piers Crocker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lee Craddock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasey Gates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Mortimer having to interfere. Footgolfers's Samuel Mortimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reg Wright in the 20th minute of play. Daryl Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Craddock in the 24th minute of the match. When Reg Wright came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Minehead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reg Wright couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reg Wright in the 39th minute of play forced Footgolfers's goalkeeper Samuel Mortimer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Reg Wright cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Samuel Mortimer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kasey Gates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Mortimer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Reg Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead's supporters rose to their feet, but Reg Wright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Mortimer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lee Craddock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lee Craddock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Myers having to interfere. Mattias Wing hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Piers Crocker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Daryl Myers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Minehead got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Ruddock. After having played for 61 minutes, Reg Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minehead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reg Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Minehead's Daryl Myers got control of the ball when Kris Lee-Barrett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Hopkinson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Mortimer. Footgolfers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kasey Gates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Samuel Mortimer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes, Footgolfers's John-Paul Mumford shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daryl Myers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Footgolfers reached it. Lee Craddock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Daryl Myers managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Footgolfers's Piers Crocker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kasey Gates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Mortimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reg Wright in the 82nd minute of play. Piers Crocker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daryl Myers firmly grabbed it by the left post. Piers Crocker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Daryl Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Mortimer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reg Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerry Bailey charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerry Bailey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerry Bailey hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Minehead's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
