Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonathan Shaw got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Shaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Jonathan Shaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daryl Myers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Junior Baldwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reg Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Kasey Gates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Reg Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead's supporters rose to their feet, but Reg Wright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Junior Baldwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kasey Gates struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Junior Baldwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minehead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reg Wright in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Junior Baldwin saved Calverley from getting behind. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calverley's goalkeeper Junior Baldwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Minehead's zone, Kris Nelthorpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daryl Myers came out of the goal and Kris Nelthorpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Minehead getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Reuben Ruddock hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Calverley's Cliff Lagdon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Daryl Myers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Shaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Daryl Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Baldwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reg Wright in the 41st minute of the match. Kris Nelthorpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daryl Myers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Kasey Gates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Baldwin having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Calverley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Sunderland to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reg Wright made a kick off. Daryl Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Shaw in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasey Gates in the 58th minute of play forced Calverley's goalkeeper Junior Baldwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 64th minute of the match Johnnie Matthews completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Johnnie Matthews a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Calverley getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Johnnie Matthews hit a great ball. Junior Baldwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasey Gates, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Kris Nelthorpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Myers having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Minehead's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kris Nelthorpe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daryl Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Sunderland in the 96th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Calverley defense, Kasey Gates kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Junior Baldwin. The Calverley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Junior Baldwin should have stopped the shot. Calverley were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
