Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Caistor's Loyd Sharp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. St Albans AFC's Charlie Bromley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loyd Sharp in the 7th minute of play. Niall Poynton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Preece in the 9th minute of the match. Charlie Bromley came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Caistor's Basil Soares. But to his dismay, Basil Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Harvey Preece fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niall Poynton having to interfere. Harvey Preece received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Niall Poynton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niall Poynton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey Preece, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 25 in the game by Harvey Commons from a close distance when the talented Niall Poynton managed to make a qualified save. Caistor's players were relieved. Niall Poynton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Preece in the 28th minute of the match. Loyd Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Charlie Bromley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caistor's Chris Connett couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for St Albans AFC. The supporters of Caistor booed when St Albans AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Spann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charlie Bromley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loyd Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Basil Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caistor's supporters rose to their feet, but Basil Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Bromley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harvey Preece made a kick off. When Basil Soares came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Caistor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basil Soares couldn't finish the play. Loyd Sharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Bromley having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basil Soares got free with Charlie Bromley in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Commons in the 58th minute of play forced Caistor's goalkeeper Niall Poynton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of St Albans AFC booed when Caistor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Cusack didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Harvey Preece shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niall Poynton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basil Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Bromley having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Harvey Commons had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niall Poynton. Caistor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harvey Commons was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Harvey Commons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to St Albans AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Paddy Morning hit a great ball. Quentin Spann's late challenge caught a Caistor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin Spann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, St Albans AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Spann to maneuver through the defense. Chris Connett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charlie Bromley. St Albans AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
