Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stuart Chipperfield took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marlon Patton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Inman, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Stuart Chipperfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Brighton City got a freekick which was hit by Darius Nash. 14 minutes into the match, Brighton City's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Louis came free, but Marlon Patton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Darius Nash notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Wanlip's Roger Crittenden. Roger Crittenden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the game, Wanlip's Thom Louis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marlon Patton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darius Nash got free with Roger Crittenden in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Brighton City booed when Wanlip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Rowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Wanlip's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Darius Nash fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Darius Nash's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Roger Crittenden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marlon Patton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thom Louis in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Brighton City's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Louis came free, but Marlon Patton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th match minute, Wanlip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Rowe to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Darius Nash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Crittenden having to interfere. Roger Crittenden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Chipperfield in the 54th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Darius Nash made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wanlip's Roger Crittenden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marlon Patton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Inman in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Chipperfield in the 68th minute of play forced Wanlip's goalkeeper Roger Crittenden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brighton City getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Abraham Argent hit a great ball. When Brighton City's Darius Nash in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wanlip's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th match minute, Brighton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierce Corbridge to maneuver through the defense. Wanlip's Tommy Manson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brighton City. 89 minutes in the game, Liam Inman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marlon Patton having to interfere. Darius Nash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Roger Crittenden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wanlip players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brighton City.
