Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jools Colley took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Christian Backhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bulwell's Jeff Herring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Backhouse in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Callington City's goalkeeper Pete Giugno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terry Harrison. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jools Colley in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pete Giugno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Christian Backhouse came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Callington City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Backhouse couldn't finish the play. Martyn Spacey charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martyn Spacey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martyn Spacey kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Kev Buchanan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Callington City's Pete Giugno didn't even have to move. In the 33rd minute, Martyn Spacey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes in the game, Jools Colley dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Martyn Spacey hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Jools Colley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alec Wood to make the kick off. Terry Harrison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Giugno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Bulwell got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Godsall. Simon Milner kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Jools Colley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Backhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jeff Herring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bulwell booed when Callington City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Backhouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bulwell's Jeff Herring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alec Wood in the 75th minute of play. Bulwell's Jeff Herring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Bulwell from getting a goal against them. Jools Colley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bulwell booed when Callington City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dom Gray didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Bulwell's Jools Colley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Giugno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match Cliff Attwood shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pete Giugno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simon Milner hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Dom Gray hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Robert Appleton hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
