Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eric Robinson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eric Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Hughes having to interfere. Eric Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Gary Hughes managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Knutsford FC's Freddy Featherson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gary Hughes made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Jack Trunks sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 12 minutes, Eric Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knutsford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gary Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Burnham on Crouch's Gary Hughes got control of the ball when Freddy Featherson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Robinson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gary Hughes saved Burnham on Crouch from getting behind. Gary Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Featherson in the 19th minute of the match. If Luke Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Burns's late challenge caught a Burnham on Crouch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Burns helped the player get up and apologised. Alfred Burns kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Knutsford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Frost came free, but Bill Bishop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luke Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Frost succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Reynolds in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Bishop saved Knutsford FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Robinson in the 41st minute of play forced Burnham on Crouch's goalkeeper Gary Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Featherson in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gary Hughes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luke Reynolds made a kick off. Bill Bishop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Reynolds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Reynolds struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Bill Bishop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnham on Crouch. Bill Bishop made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ralf Frost sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Knutsford FC's zone, Luke Reynolds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Bishop came out of the goal and Luke Reynolds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Luke Reynolds reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bill Bishop. The goal made the score 1-2. Knutsford FC's Bill Bishop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Knutsford FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th match minute, Knutsford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Cousens to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Knutsford FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Steele. Burnham on Crouch's Damian Ashton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Knutsford FC. Jack Trunks hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Burnham on Crouch's Damian Ashton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bill Bishop but with some difficulty. 88 minutes into the match, Burnham on Crouch's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Featherson came free, but Gary Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Robson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Freddy Featherson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knutsford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. With a little luck, Knutsford FC's Bill Bishop got control of the ball when Ralf Frost tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Knutsford FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Burnham on Crouch's performance. The match ended with a win for Burnham on Crouch.
