Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Gus Simpson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jools Piercy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Featherson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Flower having to interfere. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leytonstone City's goalkeeper Benji Flower, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bill Bishop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jools Piercy, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Robinson in the 18th minute of play forced Leytonstone City's goalkeeper Benji Flower to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Featherson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Leytonstone City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kyle Cousens hit a great ball. Gus Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Bishop having to interfere. Bill Bishop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jools Piercy in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Knutsford FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Daniel Hibbert hit a great ball. Jools Piercy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Bishop having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Jools Piercy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bill Bishop. Jools Piercy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 41 played minutes Leytonstone City got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Partridge. Leytonstone City's Benji Flower played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Robinson in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Benji Flower showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Leytonstone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Easter to maneuver through the defense. Benji Flower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Robinson in the 57th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leytonstone City's goalkeeper Benji Flower, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee ignored Knutsford FC's protests and gave Jack Trunks a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Knutsford FC's Jack Trunks got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gus Simpson scored 2-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bill Bishop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jools Piercy came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Leytonstone City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jools Piercy couldn't finish the play. After 93 minutes, Kyle Cousens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leytonstone City and the Knutsford FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bill Bishop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leytonstone City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
